Wholegrain Joy is a local bakery specializing in thoughtfully made whole-grain, long-fermented artisan sourdough bread and pastries. Our bread is created in small batches and naturally leavened with wild yeast. We create honest products using locally sourced ingredients including high-quality wheat, rye, spelt, barley, oats, einkorn and other ancient grains. We bake our bread in a wood-fired oven to enhance the natural flavors and texture. Our aim is to be your trusted bakery to provide you with the highest nutrition, value and quality with each loaf.
WE'RE HERE TO SERVE YOUOur goal is to improve the health of our community, one loaf at a time. We also offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free products. Breads and pastries that don’t sell within two days go directly to those in need in our community.

INSPIRATIONThe founder and owner of Wholegrain Joy, Serena, was inspired to start her own bakery after searching high and low for healthy sourdough products to feed her growing family. There were no local bakeries that provided the quality she wanted. Serena has a passion for healthy eating and believes that food does more than just feed people. It has the potential to nourish and build up a community.
